Vinyl plank flooring - the flooring that has skyrocketed in popularity

The vinyl planks kingwood flooring has skyrocketed in popularity in the last several years.  This can actually be attributed to two things- firstly the plank wood flooring, and when it is the real stuff which has a fresh look. Secondly, it is the resilient flooring, whose manufacturers have greatly improved the look and feel of the vinyl flooring, which has enhanced the number of buyers who would not have previously bought the vinyl flooring.

Now when one is buying the plank vinyl flooring one will actually find two distinctly different products. So one must be very careful while buying the vinyl plank kingwood product, and ensure that the person buys the right or the original one only.
The single board vinyl flooring is a wide vinyl plank that reproduces the look of a single board on that plank. For instance it can be said that the vinyl plank is 6”X36” and replicates the look of 6 to 8 boards that are 3” wide by various lengths.
Now we must discuss here what actually real wood plank flooring is as after all we need to know what we are trying to replicate in the first place. Firstly, the wood plank flooring is six inch in width, and it must be said that the wood plank flooring is wide, but exactly how wide it is, is a debatable fact, but in general it can be said that six inches or more defines the plank flooring.
Secondly, the planks are long, again it can be said that the length is flexible. Some plank flooring manufacturers sell wide plank in 1- 2’lengths. But it can be mentioned here that one needs at least 6 feet lengths to call it a plank. Further it can be said that real wood plank flooring should be 8, 10 and 12 feet long.

Though it is completely optional but if one will find the wide plank flooring out there also has a heavily antiqued or distressed look- hand scrapped, dinged, scratched and peppered with nail holes. Good distressed wide plank flooring looks fantastic.
Now if we look into the vinyl plank flooring we will find that if we chalk one of the vinyl flooring manufacturer it will be found that plenty of plank vinyl flooring in the 6” range and even up to 7 ¾”. One will rarely find plank vinyl flooring over three feet long due to the manufacturing and shipping concerns. Since the resilient flooring is cooked up in the test tube as it were and stamped out in the factory, any kind of surface treatment is possible, so one will find heavily distressed plank vinyl flooring.
The cost of plank vinyl flooring that is the resilient plank vinyl flooring has the wood version beat hands down. The prices of vinyl plank floors almost reach the level of wood plank floor prices.
The installation of the vinyl plank floor is very easy, whether self adhesive or glue down resilient plank flooring is always easy to install than the wood plank flooring.
